A stunning pair of Victorian, profusely carved, walnut armchairs in a gothic revival style. Featuring the original leather seat and backpads with horsehair filling the most unusual feature of these chairs are the small heads / faces which adorn the tops of the chair backs and the ends of the armrests. Each its own little character and possibly a bespoke request by the chairs original owners. Beautiful colour and wear to the leather seating and a rich, warm patina to the timber frames. Perfect for a large hallway or either side of a fireplace in a modern or period home. These are being sold individually.
