19th Century Library Table

A late 19th century English Oak Library table. Constructed in solid oak, with a three plank top set on six heavily turned legs connected by traditional oak stretchers. Originally this table would have been used in a large school or public library. The lack of front stretcher indicates that chairs would have been drawn in close to the table, signifying long periods of study and learning. An absolutely beautiful piece and perfect for a large home office or kitchen.
