Benin Bronze Heads

A pair of Benin Bronze Heads. Made using the lost wax method these heads would first be moulded in wax, then buried in sand or clay. Poured molten bronze melts the wax and takes its form. Benin bronze sculptures have been created using the same method for centuries making pieces extremely difficult to date. Wonderfully decorative items for any home.
