Regency Armchair

This Regency armchair has a wonderful Greek-key pattern inlay in Ebony. The seat pad has been reupholstered in a vibrant Peacock fabric to modernise the chair whilst retaining it’s classical appearance. Once part of a much larger set, this carver chair would have sat at the top of a rather splendid dining table. Now the perfect piece for a home office or single armchair at a dressing table or corner of a bedroom. Circa 1815
